It was recently found out that cloud services adoption by businesses in Australia has led to more productivity and benefitting positively the economy.
Indeed, a study by Deloitte showed that cloud services have brought $9.4 billion to the economy in five years. Small and medium businesses are then more likely to decide to shift to the cloud, as around 78% of users have declared improvements in productivity since using cloud services.
Cloud services are then changing business models and innovating the ways of working through new technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and robotics. Although Australia is still at the beginning of the cloud journey, its number of cloud data centres has increased as more businesses are adopting cloud services.
Hence, Australian small and medium businesses are switching to the cloud for more innovation and productivity but also for the savings and security it can offer.
