It was recently reported that the Defence Innovation Unit (DIU) has started a contract with Google Cloud for a secure cloud management (SCM) solution.
Indeed, this division of the DoD that is focused on scaling commercial technology across the US military is planning to implement this SCM solution across the DIU’s systems. The solution uses zero trust principles and maintains the highest security standards.
It has become vital for government agencies to use a zero-trust security strategy as well as using modern and cloud-native solutions. Google then is working on the adoption of this across defense agencies worldwide. The contract will provide DIU with fast and secure access to software as a service (SaaS) applications.
