European-funded projects have recently announced the launch of an International Doctoral Academy on Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Indeed, the AI4Media project inaugurated the International Artificial Intelligence Doctoral Academy (AIDA) with 73 AI experts from European Universities, research institutes, and companies. AIDA aims to foster Ph.D. education excellence in AI through the participation of leading European AI partners. It hopes to become a world reference for AI Ph.D. studies.
The project is then set on making a great impact on AI academic education, industry, workforce upskilling, as well as social challenges. It also wants to ensure European strategic autonomy in AI technology and to reinforce Europe’s assets in AI.
By doing so, AIDA could create a common AI resource center and become a shared facility that can provide knowledge and expertise all the while attracting leading researchers and becoming an entry point to AI excellence in Europe.
