Northrop Grumman UK to encourage more Black women to get into tech

It was recently announced that Northrop Grumman UK would be partnering with Niyo Network on their Black Codher Bootcamp in order to recruit and encourage more black women to get into tech careers.

Indeed, the company aims to support the initiative through Black Codher’s 30-week long Bootcamp, giving learners the technical skills they require for a career in tech. During this time, they will get to focus on software programming and development, including full-stack development, as well as offering career and interview advice. By the end of the training, Northrop Grumman will make offers of employment to participants.

By doing so, the company hopes to attract and retain more diverse people and open the door to careers in tech for more black women. Since March 2020, over 250 women have been upskilled through the Bootcamps.
